New customer consultation

This initial consultation is the first appointment to be booked by any newcomer to FP Perth. During this 90min session we will take a comprehensive analysis of your movement using slow motion filming, take photos of your standing posture and discuss any current or previous pains and injuries you may have. All of this data will then be used in order to formulate a plan to address the root cause of your biomechanical problems. The service we provide is ongoing personal training and therefore this appointment should be viewed as the first session in your new training program as opposed to a one-off treatment.

 

1-on-1

Private 1-on-1 sessions can be 45 minutes or 90 minutes long. These sessions involve an array of different equipment and techniques all geared towards making biomechanical changes to the body. The corrective exercise techniques known as chamber sequences or IMAPS are exclusive to FP and have substantially raised the standard of results throughout the industry. The accurate implementation of these techniques along with learning how to execute multi-planer ballistic movements is what lies at the core of FP training.

 

Group Classes

Our group classes give clients an opportunity to join other FP doers in a group environment.

Our dynamic class uses multi-planer FP moves in a circuit format, under the instruction of a biomechanics specialist and provides clients with the chance to put the work from the private sessions to good practice. A minimum of 3 private sessions must be completed before you can apply for the class and participation will be at the trainer’s discretion.

We also have a myofascial release class which is accessible to anyone including new customers. In this class you will be guided through some self-myofascial release techniques which will aim to relieve any areas of the body that are holding too much tension and bring some hydration to those areas.

Periodically throughout the year we run a 6 week fundamentals class which is also accessible to new customers as well as our current ones. This class is a 6 week block, with 1 in-person session per week and various techniques and lifestyle protocols to be completed at home. This class will focus firstly on myofascial release, followed by corrective exercise and applicable strength training, utilising patented Functional Patterns technology and techniques.

 

Membership options

 

We offer several membership options at Functional Patterns Perth which allow you to train with us multiple times per week under one weekly payment.

Group Class Membership

This membership gives you full access to all of the weekly group classes held at FP Perth.

Hybrid Membership This membership gives you the same access as the group class membership but also enables you to book a 1:1 appointment with a practitioner every week.

Intensive Membership Just like the Hybrid, this membership combines both group classes and 1:1 training but this time you get two 1:1 sessions per week.

These membership options are reserved for clients who have worked with one of our practitioners and have been deemed ready to participate in group classes. Please ask your practitioner for more information about these memberships during your next visit.
